1. The service
QubitLab is a free, educational platform: lessons, a circuit IDE, simulators, a Python Playground and connections to real quantum hardware. It is offered “as is” and may change, pause or have limits (for example simulators run up to 4 qubits).
2. Your account
- Use an email you can open, and keep your password and devices safe. One account per person.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if someone else uses it.
- Some actions need a confirmed email: real quantum hardware and asking for credits.
- Your username and public profile must not pretend to be another person or organisation.
3. Fair use
Please do not:
- try to break into the server, other accounts or the Python sandbox, or test attacks against QubitLab;
- flood the service with automated requests, or create accounts to collect free credits;
- upload anything illegal, hateful or harmful in your profile, circuits, feedback or support requests;
- use someone else’s IBM or IQM token without their permission.
4. Run credits and prices
- Every new account gets 100 free credits (guest accounts get 20). Each simulator run, compile, Playground run or hardware submission uses credits, as shown in Dashboard → Credits; a result served from the cache is free.
- You can ask for more free credits with a reason in Dashboard → Credits; an administrator decides.
- Later, extra credits may be sold. Prices can change with demand and with the kind of run (simulators cost less than real hardware). The price is always shown before you pay, and nothing is charged without your clear confirmation.
- Free credits have no money value, cannot be sold or moved to another account, and expire as shown in Dashboard → Credits. The free amounts and the cost of each run may change.
5. IBM Quantum and IQM
Jobs on real hardware run on your own IBM Quantum or IQM account. Their terms, limits and any costs apply and are between you and them. QubitLab does not control queue times, results or outages of their machines.
6. Your work
Your circuits, code and notes stay yours. You let QubitLab store, run and show them to you so the service works, and show the parts you make public (profile, Community). The lessons and site content remain QubitLab’s.
7. Disabling accounts
An administrator may disable or remove an account that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk. You can ask for your account to be deleted at any time.
8. No guarantee
QubitLab is a learning tool. Simulator and hardware results can be noisy or wrong, and the service may lose data or be unavailable. As far as the law allows, QubitLab is not liable for losses from using it. Keep copies of anything important.
9. Changes and contact
When these terms change we update the date above and note it in the Changelog; using QubitLab after that means you accept the new version. Questions: use Feedback or “Contact support”.
